So, we finally succumbed and bought some crocs.
I have never been a huge fan of them, however I have to say - they are incredibly comfortable! We went for a long walk in the common yesterday (Wimbledon Common), and, apart from the odd little stone getting into them now and again, it felt like we were walking on air!
Can you guess who is who here?
I know what you mean...they are NOT cute at all, but I wear them, too. There is something about the comfort that I can't give up. I keep them by the back door and use them when I must run out with the dogs, etc.

A friend of mine told me they look *frumpy*.... hahaha... ah well... good thing I am not too bothered with fashion ;)
