So I am cooking South Africa's proclaimed national dish tonight for Grete and David. I hope I do it justice! A mild, sweet curry.
What are your national dishes and do you ever cook them? This is only the second time for me (shocking, I know!), the first being a tester earlier this week... (shhhh don't tell Grete!). I HAVE made a resolution to cook many more of our national foods though... koeksusters, milk tart etc. Maybe even boerewors? Lance makes delicious biltong. I see them as a 'treat', living abroad... and only eat them when out on a special eve out... this is going to change though.
