Been dining out with girlfriends... been to a spa weekend... cream teas... getting loads done round the house... not cooking a big meal every night... dancing to music with my earphones (nothing new there)... all in all this living alone thing is going quite well.

Missing my lad
To those of you with long term partners...
What is the longest you have been away from your partner at any given time? Is this often or not? For work? Travel? Seeing family?
Lance landed in Cape Town tonight. Business/family trip. This is the first time we have been so far apart and for so long (10 days), in 11 years. It feels really odd not having him here and I miss the dear lad. He's such lovely company.
